All you have to do is keep reading below!

How can I charge my Blazer EV at home?

There are multiple levels of charging that can be done with your Chevy Blazer EV. When it comes to charging your SUV at home, you have two different options to consider. The first of these is Level 1, which can be done in any outlet that you might have. We best recommend this kind of charging for topping off your charge, as it utilizes 120 volts, so it won’t go as quickly as the other options that are available to you. However, if you really want to make the best of charging at home, then you need to utilize Level 2 charging. This available system that you can get installed into your home utilizes 240 volts and can get you as many as 7 to 58 miles of range per hour. You’ll just be able to plug in when you get home after work, and your ride will be ready in the morning.

What about public charging options?

While you’re out and about, especially if you’re on a road trip, you’ll always want to be clued in as to the charging stations that are available around you. That’s why we highly recommend using your myChevrolet Mobile App to find available charging stations in your area! You can even learn more about the charging station by seeing how they want people to pay. You’ll just go straight to one of these charging stations, plug in, and wait for your vehicle to be at the kind of charge that you need it to be to get back on the road toward your destination. You’ll find two types of public charging. The first is Level 2, which we have already covered. The second is DC Fast Charging, which can get you as many as 100 miles of range in just 30 minutes.

Should I follow any kind of etiquette at charging stations?

Choosing to use a public charging station means that you are agreeing to share this space with other people. That’s why we want to make sure that everyone is aware of the fact that there are some basic rules they should be following. First and foremost, always follow the signs that are posted around charging stations. There are sometimes time limits for how long you can be somewhere, and you should always respect those limits. We also want to say that you should never unplug someone else’s vehicle, no matter how badly you need to charge your vehicle. In the same vein, if you don’t need a full charge, then leave as early as you can, so other people can charge, too!
